Re-Enrollment Requirements
What Are the Requirements to Re-Enroll?
All students must meet these requirements to request to re-enroll in their previous UMKC program after a limited absence. If you do not meet these requirements, you must apply for readmission.
- You were not academically dismissed by your program
- You are requesting to re-enroll in the degree program in which you were previously enrolled.
- These programs do not allow students to re-enroll: Conservatory, dentistry, law, medicine (M.D., MMSPA, MSA), nursing (BSN - pre-licensure and accelerated, MSN, post-MSN certificates, DNP, Ph.D.), pharmacy, and certain graduate programs in science and engineering. You will have to apply for readmission to these programs.
- You cannot re-enroll in a program in which you have already earned a degree. If you wish to enroll in a different degree program, you will need to apply to UMKC.
- You did not most recently enroll as a visiting or community student or in a continuing education program at UMKC or elsewhere.
- You were not enrolled at another college during the time you were absent.
- If you attended another college, apply as a transfer student.
