Master of Curriculum and Instruction '16 & Elementary Education '13
It can be a really daunting task to decide to go back to school, especially with all the stress of the classroom. When applying for scholarships, those were some of the determining factors of if I could handle a new program. By receiving funds it made the decision to come back easier. Now I can focus on my field instead of the funds and how I was going to make it through. The students in my classroom deserve a teacher who is fully rounded and educated. By going back to school I'm not only furthering my opportunities but also theirs.
Last year, your generosity helped fund scholarships, research, study abroad and internship experiences for thousands of UMKC students.
Contributions from alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff combine to make a tremendous impact on our students. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a
difference. Thank you in advance for your financial support. You help make students' dreams a reality.
