Competing on the Trial Advocacy Team at UMKC – School of Law has easily been one of the greatest experiences of my law school career. The generosity of those who have donated to the Alumni Fund enabled me to compete across the country in Kentucky, New York, Texas, and throughout Missouri. Our team qualified in semi-final rounds and even advanced to nationals. It has helped me fine tune my trial advocacy skills and prepare myself to be a zealous advocate for future clients. I am forever grateful for the opportunities, relationships and wisdom I have gained through the Trial Advocacy Team.
