Recommended Timing: These flags are automatically raised by UMKC Connect when an Application for Graduation is processed by the Office of the Registrar and students record in Pathway is updated with an anticipated graduation term.

Notification

  • Appears in Student Dashboard
  • Student receives email notification

Response Plan

  • Graduation Advisor will use this flag to begin the Pre-Final Term Degree Audit Review (PFTC) process.
  • Upon completion of review Graduation Advisor will raise appropriate flags to alert student to remaining requirements
  • Closed by Graduation Advisor through PTFC process.

ACTION REQUIRED: Graduation Missing Coursework and/or Requirements, Pre-Final Term Audit (GA)

ACTION REQUIRED: Graduation Semester Not Realistic – File New Application, Pre-Final Term (GA)

ACTION REQUIRED: Missing Administrative Requirements, Pre-Final Term Audit (GA)

Recommended Timing: These flags are raised by Graduation Advisors to alert students to remaining requirements in the term prior to the students final term.

  • Appears in Student Dashboard
  • Student receives email notification

Response Plan

  • Academic Advisor use these flags to work with students to adjust current and or future term enrollment or to provide reminders of missing administrative requirements to ensure all requirements are satisfied by the students anticipated graduation date.
  • Graduation Advisor will initiate a current term audit following the pre-final term review and raise appropriate flags to alert student to remaining requirements at that time.
  • Closed by Graduation Advisor through PTFC process.

  • Graduation Advisor will initiate a post-final term audit following the current term review and raise appropriate flags to alert student to remaining requirements at that time.
  • Closed by Graduation Advisor through PTFC process.

ACTION REQUIRED: Graduation Final Requirements Not Met – File New Application, Post-Final Term Audit (GA)

Recommended Timing: This flag is raised by Graduation Advisors to alert students to remaining requirements at the conclusion of the term associated with the students anticipated graduation date. 

Notification

  • Appears in Student Dashboard
  • Student receives email notification

Response Plan

  • Academic Advisor use these flags to work with students to submit a new Application for Graduation and enroll or make plans to complete missing administrative requirements to ensure all requirements are satisfied and the student graduates.
  • Graduation Advisor will initiate the degree audit review process again as indicated by the students Application for Graduation.
  • Closed by Graduation Advisor through PTFC process.
