Our goal is to continue creating the UMKC Culture of Care by sponsoring events that focus on employee development and having fun. Events include opportunities for recognition, community-building, development and getting to know each other.

Take Your Child to Work Day
Join us for UMKC’s Take Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 24, 2025!
Parents and their child(ren) will have the opportunity to choose from an array of activities hosted by departments across the Volker and Health Sciences Campuses.
All employees who are planning to bring their child(ren) to work on Thursday, April 24, 2025, will need to register by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
To register, please complete the following:
- Supervisor Approval Form
- Waiver (separate signed waivers are required for each child)
- Registration Form
PLEASE NOTE: You must accompany your child throughout the day and to the scheduled activities. Supervisor approval is required to ensure departmental guidelines are followed and proper coverage is met.

Don't forget to reserve your tickets for UMKC Day at The K on Sunday, April 27. With your ticket, you'll receive a special UMKC and Royals co-branded windbreaker!
