Authorized Users List Tool

Hazardous Materials Supervisors (HMS) and their delegates can use this tool to confirm or update the laboratory locations registered to their respective permits. The tool will also allow HMS to add or remove workers who are authorized to handle hazardous chemicals on their behalf.

Once laboratory locations and workers have been updated and confirmed, a new Authorized Users list will be generated for each laboratory associated with the HMS' permit. Users can print their new Authorized Users lists and post them prominently inside their laboratories.

Laboratory workers and supervisors are assigned training based on their enrollment onto an Authorized Users List. It is important to update these lists immediately when there are changes in personnel. In labs where there is low turnover, Authorized Users Lists should be updated at the beginning of each semester.
