Pharmacy programs vary as to their requirements, in that some programs allow students to complete their prerequisite coursework as Pre-Pharmacy students (such as UMKC’s School of Pharmacy) and then apply to be admitted to the Pharmacy Doctoral (PharmD) program. Though, others require or give preference to students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree, so it is important to confirm the requirements for each school to which you are planning to apply.
