Classes meet twice a week for two hours in the evening, for a total of four hours a week.

UMKC's English-language program is run by the Applied Language Institute (ALI). You apply for the program using ALI's application form. Apply to ALI.

Take the placement exam and enroll in courses

After you receive notice that you're admitted to ALI, email ALI to request to take the placement exam and sign up for your courses. Email ALI.
