Biography

Gabriella (Gabby) Jones, M.A. (she/her) is a Psychological Intern who is currently enrolled in the PsyD in Clinical Psychology program at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is trained as a generalist and enjoys working with a wide range of psychological concerns. Gabby’s areas of clinical interest include underserved populations, such as ethnic and racial minorities, sexual and gender minorities, and low-income populations, as well as relationship and couples’ issues, spiritual concerns, identity development, and grief. Gabby works from an integrated theoretical orientation that pulls from interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and multicultural modalities to best fit each client’s unique presentation. Above all, she prioritizes and emphasizes the therapeutic relationship to foster a warm, empathic, trusting, and supportive environment for all university students. In her free time, Gabby likes to read romance/fantasy books, watch movies, take photos with her Canon camera, play trivia at local bars (e.g., Twilight, Star Wars), try new restaurants, and cook healthy meals at home with her husband.
