Biography

Danielle Johnson, Psy.D. (she/her)

Danielle Johnson received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University – San Franscisco. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Johnson enjoys working with culturally and diagnostically diverse individuals and works with a wide range of concerns. She strongly believes that therapy should be collaborative and tailored to the individual needs of the client. Dr. Johnson is person-centered and integrates acceptance commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic therapy. Her research interests include anxiety & stress management, emotional regulation, coping mechanisms, and trauma. In her leisure time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading thriller books, hiking, and attending music festivals.
