A UMKC accessible parking permit, along with a state-issued disability plate or placard, allows an individual to park their vehicle in a designated accessible parking space in faculty/staff and student permit areas.
A UMKC accessible parking permit by itself allows the user to park in any faculty/staff or student permit parking space on the campus.
Individuals who are displaying only a state-issued disability plate or placard should park in metered areas on the campus and pay the meter.

Motorcycles, mopeds and motor scooters may not be parked in any bicycle rack, building or entranceway to any building.

Single-day permits are available for purchase by students, employees and visitors by going to our website or visiting the Parking Office.
Internal purchases of one-day scratch-off hangtags may be made via MoCode by using the One Day Permit Request Form. Hangtags are valid for the day indicated by scratching off the appropriate day, month, and year. Orders of 25 or more hangtags must be picked up in the Parking and Transportation Office, Room 221, Administrative Center, 5115 Oak St., Kansas City, MO 64112.
