This policy governs all Information Services (IS)-managed general-purpose webservers (e.g., php2.umkc.edu) with the exception of the following:

• www.umkc.edu server
• dev.umkc.edu server

Please contact the University Webmaster for policies regarding top level directory creation for the above servers.

Top level directory requests on IS-managed general-purpose webservers:

• All schools, departments and offices that have an existing top level directory on the www.umkc.edu server and the dev.umkc.edu can request a corresponding directory on any IS-managed general-purpose web server (e.g., php2.umkc.edu/departmentname/).

Exceptions to the above policy are handled on a case-by-case basis and can be requested by emailing Frank Magrone in IS Foundation Services. 

Directory request policy for info.umkc.edu and infodev.umkc.edu:

• All schools, departments and offices that have an existing top level directory on the www.umkc.edu server and the dev.umkc.edu can request a corresponding directory on the info.umkc.edu and infodev.umkc.edu server (e.g., info.umkc.edu/departmentname/).
• All other requests are handled on a first come, first served basis.
