A Cooperative Partnership

The UMKC Health Sciences District brings together 12 healthcare partners in the Hospital Hill area. Working as one, they will create new potential for collaboration on research, grants, community outreach and shared wellness for employees, faculty, students and surrounding neighborhoods.

UMKC Health Sciences Student Research Summit

The 13th annual UMKC Health Sciences Student Research Summit (HSSRS) is 1-4 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at Union Station in the Chamber Board Room. The Health Sciences Research Summit is an opportunity for the health sciences community to showcase innovative research across various health sciences field and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.

Health Sciences Community Improvement District

The Health Sciences Community Improvement District approved a long-range (20-year) vision plan for development for the 95-acre district. The vision plan’s intent is to allow for the Health Sciences Community Improvement District partners to expand as well as complement community development.
