Alumni Association
The Alumni Association supports, strengthens and unites the growing UMKC alumni network. There are many ways for UMKC alumni to connect — alumni directory, volunteering for a committee or board or mentoring a UMKC student.
Our Alumni Association is more than 140,000 strong, spanning all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This outstanding network includes artists, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, caregivers, public servants and many more who are proud to call themselves Roos.
UMKC Foundation
The UMKC Foundation, an independent nonprofit, encourages gifts and bequests to promote academic achievement, foster research and elevate intellectual pursuits at UMKC. Through stewardship of donors’ gifts, the organization ensures stability for programs and student financial aid.
This past fiscal year, UMKC broke its all-time record in annual philanthropic production with $94 million, providing capital for the 160,000-square-foot Healthcare Delivery and Innovation Building, the largest capital improvement project in UMKC's history; a renovated food venue in the Student Union, the Foodiverse; and a new student success space on the fourth floor of the Miller Nichols Library.
