Kansas Rate

We're proud to offer in-state tuition to most Kansas residents. From Marysville to Kiowa and Olathe to Weskan, we have you covered.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students from Kansas are automatically eligible for UMKC's in-state tuition rate. With the Kansas rate, a full-time non-resident undergraduate student taking 30 credit hours annually can save nearly $14,000 each academic year. That's money you can use on textbooks, technology, housing or just the cost of living.

Graduate Students

Graduate students in these Kansas counties are eligible for the in-state rate. Graduate students pursuing professional degrees in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy or law are not eligible for the Kansas rate.
