Membership Rates - FAQ

We thank you for supporting UMKC Campus Recreation and look forward to offering you quality facilities and services.

Yes, you may renew your membership at the current rate for a maximum of 1 month until June 30th.

No, your current membership will continue until it is set to expire. The new membership rates will not impact you until your membership is due for renewal.

When signing up for an autopay membership, you are entering into a membership agreement for the duration that you choose. The cancellation policy applies to these memberships. Memberships can only be cancelled for medical reasons that inhibit a member from utilizing Swinney Center. Written documentation is required from a physician to cancel and must be provided to us via email at umkccampusrec@umkc.edu to be reviewed by the Director of Campus Recreation.

Memberships will not automatically renew once the membership duration period has concluded. For example, if a member enrolls in a 3-month autopay membership agreement, after 3 months, the membership will not automatically renew.

Autopay memberships are only available online. However, we can provide assistance in-person if you are having issues with the online purchase.

Email umkccampusrec@umkc.edu and we will assist in setting up an online account for you.

Yes, however, you will pay a prorated amount upfront to cover the membership until the auto payments start. An example is below.

If your card is declined, we are notified by the system and will contact you to update your card payment on the Member Portal. During this time, your membership may be put on hold until payment is received.
