Our professors are world class but still accessible and approachable. In many courses, professors expect the students to ask questions and actively participate in class. Students pursuing advanced degrees are particularly encouraged to critique theories, formulate models and interact with the professor.
In addition to our many international students, our faculty members also come from all over the world, with a wide range of experience and expertise.
Classes sometimes include a practical as well as a theoretical component. Lectures account for the theoretical, and workshops, labs and study groups make up the practical, which may include hands-on projects.
No matter your area of interest, our undergraduate and graduate programs cultivate skills in analysis, critical thinking, writing and communication and the principles of science and engineering for a truly interdisciplinary education.
