Biography

Katelyn Chapin is a Human Resources Business Partner with eight years of experience in the HR field and three years in the Kansas City educational space. Katelyn specializes in building partnerships with employees and management to create a positive and collaborative work culture. In her current role within UMKC, she supports the School of Pharmacy, Bloch School of Management, and Information Services with their immediate needs and long-term HR strategy. She also works to find ways to operate efficiently in each unit’s unique structure. Katelyn believes in the power of transparency, curiosity, and optimism in her personal and professional life.
