- Application may be made by use of a standard application form available online at www.umkc.edu/registrar/forms.html or by any written document or letter which contains the necessary information (see form). Applications should be submitted to the UMKC Records Office, to the attention of the Assistant Registrar-Records, prior to the first day of classes in the student's second semester of readmission.
- Amnesty applications are acted upon by a standing faculty committee to be appointed by the Provost's Office.
- Notification of committee decisions will be made in writing to the student and the appropriate Academic Deans by the UMKC Records Office.
