Attendance, Examinations and Grades, and Withdrawal from Courses
The administrative rules and regulations set forth for the juris doctor
degree program covering these matters also apply to the master of laws degree
programs.
Scholastic Probation and Dismissal
A student will be placed on scholastic probation
whenever the student's GPA falls below 3.0 (2.7 for the LL.M.
[Taxation] degree and LL.M. [General] with Estate Planning
Concentration degree). A student on probation must attain an overall
3.0 GPA (2.7 for the LL.M. in [Taxation] and LL.M. [General] with
Estate Planning Concentration) by the end of the next semester of
coursework, or, unless an exception is made by the Graduate Studies
Committee, the student will be dismissed from the program for academic
deficiency.
