As an academic advisor, I am dedicated to ensuring all students have a positive and equitable experience throughout their college years. I believe all students have unique talents and I promote their confidence in their strengths and abilities in school and throughout their lives. My goal as an academic advisor is to advocate for students through acceptance, empathy, and care. I strive for all students to feel comfortable with being themselves through offering trust, open communication, patience, and sincere interest. I help students empower themselves through learning from their lived experienced to determine their passions, goals, and how to attain them. I share my experiences to connect with students and normalize their college and life experiences. My overall goal is to support students holistically to ensure their success in all forms. I am an advisor because I seek to help students explore and develop skills and interests to change the world around them, in each of their unique ways.
