Student access is important to us. We provide the tools and support needed to create an equitable and inclusive educational experience for all students.

Accommodation Plans

Your accommodation plan outlines which services you are eligible to receive. If you haven’t established an accommodation plan with UMKC yet, please get started now.

Your plan remains active as long as you are continuously enrolled at UMKC. If you stop for a semester or more, contact us to reactivate your file.

Roo Access Login

Roo Access is the portal to establish and maintain accommodations for UMKC students, faculty, and staff.

RETURNING STUDENTS & STAFF

New Accommodation Application

FACULTY & INSTRUCTORS

Each semester, you need to complete the following steps for your accommodations:
Returning Students & Staff:  After requesting your accommodations for the semester in Roo Access, your Faculty Notification Letters will automatically be sent to your course instructors.
New Students Applying for Accommodations:  Use your UMKC SSO and password to log in and complete the questionnaire. We will contact you within 3-5 business days with next steps. If you register without submitting documentation, you can upload it at a later time by following these instructions.
Faculty & Instructors:  Use your UMKC SSO and password, and click on Instructor Portal to upload/revise your testing guidelines for students who are registered with our office.
