UMKC is committed to respecting all members of our university community and providing a quality educational experience for all students. The objective of the UMKC Student HelpLine is to ensure that the concerns of students are addressed fairly and are resolved promptly.
In most instances, situations can be resolved through your program or the dean's office. You may also follow these paths of resolution.
If you have a significant concern that another established university policy cannot address, you may choose to file a student complaint. The student complaint process is not an appeal of a decision made through a university policy nor does it supersede another defined university process.
If your complaint involves discrimination or Title IX issues, you should consult the Office of Equity and Title IX.
