Outreach and Volunteer Opportunities

The Staff Council Outreach Committee plans volunteer opportunities for our UMKC staff on campus and in our community.

Some of our favorite outreach/volunteer traditions include:

Colleting items for the Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Care Center, Academic Support and Mentoring School Supply Pantry, and Career Services Professional Wardrobe Studio.
Sponsoring the Blue and Gold Week Virtual 5K, which benefits the Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Care Center.
Promoting Community Blood Center on-campus blood drives.
Facilitating off-campus service projects at Kansas City metro service agencies, such as Scraps KC, Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City, and Kansas City Parks and Recreation.
