Richard is a housing industry professional who has served in university housing and property management industries alike since 2013. A native of Chicago, Richard attended Iowa State University where he worked closely with students in on-campus residence halls and university apartments throughout his undergraduate career. After graduation, Richard moved to Madison, Wisconsin to explore multifamily property management where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of communities as a Property Manager in Wisconsin's energetic capital.
Richard now joins us in Kansas City excited to get back to his roots in Residential Life. He is proud to represent students from first generation families, Latinx and LGBTQIA+ community groups. Richard enjoys staying active as a CrossFit enthusiast, a marathon and triathlon athlete, and frequents hiking trails or kayaking spots alike. His favorite sports are Rugby and Basketball, claiming to defend his title as the "#1 Milwaukee Bucks fan in all of Kansas City.
