Kim McNeley

Vice Provost of Curriculum and Assessment and HLC Accreditation Liaison Officer

Biography

Dr. McNeley has had the opportunity to serve the UMKC community, first in 1990 as a part of the support team for the six-year, medical program and most recently in 2012 to develop and establish UMKC’s University College, an academic unit designed to support undergraduate, undecided or exploratory students.

Dr. McNeley has served in a variety of administrative roles supporting student-centered, curriculum development and assessment. She currently serves a Vice Provost for Curriculum and Assessment and UMKC’s Accreditation Liaison Officer. Previous roles include Assistant Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kansas, and Counselor in the Student Support Services, TRIO program at the University of Texas – Arlington.

Dr. McNeley completed a bachelor’s degree in education at Southwest Missouri State University, a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas, and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from UMKC.
