Curriculum, Assessment and Accreditation

At UMKC, curriculum and assessment are equal parts of a continuous development cycle designed to improve the educational value of programs and experiences for students. Faculty develop curriculum as part of a vision of educational value; assess the student learning outcomes associated with that curriculum; and design improvements to programs as a result of assessment. It is a recursive, progressive model of academic improvement.
