University Analytics and Institutional Effectiveness
At UMKC, institutional effectiveness refers to how well we adhere to our mission and goals as a university. It also refers to an ongoing evaluation of our programs, services and outcomes for students, faculty and staff, which promote our continual improvement as an institution.
To assess our progress, the Office of University Analytics, which is overseen by the Office of the Provost, tracks and reports data that enables university leaders to make evidence-based decisions; plan future initiatives; and implement continuous quality improvements in areas like student life, academic success, hiring and program evaluation.
