BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT VISION

The vision of Business Development is to maximize faculty research discovery and cultivate external funding by supporting the strategic mission of the Missouri Institute for Defense & Energy. Our goal is to serve as support for UMKC faculty and researchers while additionally establishing and nurturing vibrant and long-term relationships across disciplines with sponsoring agencies and small businesses.

We strive to maintain and uphold research best practices and promote growth within our UMKC research community. Whether you are a junior faculty member trying to establish your research career, a senior faculty member building upon years of work, or a small business looking to collaborate and enhance your entrepreneurial efforts, our aim is to deliver the best and most pioneering support available.
