The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office depends on kindhearted and committed individuals to help us review student applications every year. Would you consider volunteering to support deserving students?
Here are the expectations we ask of volunteers:
- This volunteer opportunity is open to everyone, regardless of proximity to campus.
- Our goal is that each volunteer will review about 50 applications. The more volunteers we have, the fewer applications everyone will need to review.
- You will be asked to score each application on specific criteria we will provide.
- You can review at your own pace, but please submit your scores by the deadline.
- You will have 2 to 3 weeks to complete your assignment before the scholarship review committee will meet to make selections.
- Always remember the difference your effort is making.
If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the below survey with your employee ID number by June 30. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office will collect this information to set you up in our scholarship system, Blackbaud Award Management, and will reach out to you with further instructions.
