Studio Art student Amy Do started working on her design for the Sermon-Anderson mural while taking a murals class in Fall 2023 with Davin Watne. After almost a year of planning, the mural began with a community painting event during the Englewood Arts District Third Friday Art Walk. It will be unveiled during the Independence Pride Festival on Saturday, June 29. This project is a collaboration with UM Extension, Englewood Arts Center, and SHSS.
