SPRING Dates to Remember:

• MARCH 7 -  Deadline for 100% tuition waiver (no payment due) for dropping a course; no record on transcript
• MARCH 28 - Deadline for 50% tuition waiver (student responsible for 50% of tuition) for dropping a course; W on transcript
• APRIL 11 - Last day to withdraw with a W, no tuition waiver (full amount due)

Eligibility Requirements

• High school sophomores, juniors and seniors
  • An overall 3.0 minimum grade point average (GPA) (on a 4.0 scale) or a minimum 21 composite ACT score
• High school freshmen
  • An overall 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), a score in the 90th percentile or above on the ACT or SAT, a signed letter of recommendation from your principal and guidance counselor and written permission from a parent or legal guardian
• Some courses have prerequisites that must be completed prior to registration. The Prerequisites for MATH 110 Precalculus Algebra are as follows: The Math 110 Precalculus Algebra course is one course that has a pre-requisite outside of the basic course perquisites for taking any HSCP course. The course prerequisite requires an ALEKS Score of 51 or higher; or MyMathTest Intermediate Algebra Score of 70% or higher; or ACT Math Sub-score of 22 or higher; or SAT Math Sub-score of 540 or higher; or concurrent enrollment in MATH 109; or completion of three or more units of high school Algebra I and higher mathematics courses and a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. 
• Students earning college credit in a course must have satisfied state graduation requirements in that subject area.
• In schools where state mandated subjects are taken in grades 9 and 10, junior and senior students may enroll for both college and high school elective credit.
• In schools not offering state mandated courses in grades 9 and 10, junior and senior students will receive credit simultaneously for both college work and high school graduation requirements.
