Alisha joined the OSI staff in Fall 2023 and is the events and outreach coordinator. She was previously in the office of admissions recruiting students for the UMKC School of Nursing and Health Studies.
She was born and raised in Saint Joseph, Missouri. She attended the University of Central Missouri (UCM), Where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and worked as a general manager in various hotels for over ten years. She graduated with her master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration with a certificate in academic advising in May 2023. She is working on her doctorate in Higher Education Administration at UMKC.
Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter in her free time. She loves watching her daughter dance in competitions and seeing her succeed in her dreams. She is also a Disney adult and loves spending time and talking about Disney anytime she can.
