Patient Monitoring and Instrumentation

Students are taught the clinical application of anesthesia instrumentation. Monitors and devices used in the operating room are studied with respect to principles of operation, calibration, and interpretation of clinical data. A hands-on laboratory is utilized to maximize direct contact to the instruments. Prerequisites: Consent of the department.
