Early Childhood Reading I: Introduction to Literacy and Reading Education

This course introduces concepts about literacy processes: i.e., social, cultrual, cognitive and linguistic foundations of reading and wrtiting processes. The major focus of the course is on learning components of comprehensive reading curriculum and a range od instructional approaches and methods appropriate for early childhood learners at different stages of literacy development.
