Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology

This course will provide students with a comprehensive mechanistic understanding of various molecular events that lead to and/or are associated with chemically/environmentally induced degenerative of proliferative diseases. The course will include lectures student presentations of recent advances in biochemical and molecular toxicology and student report on a topic of interest as it pertains to the subject being taught. The title of the report has to be approved by the course coordinator. Prerequisites: BS or equivalent in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, biology, or approval from the course coordinator.
