Residents of these counties in Kansas are eligible for the same rate as Missouri residents through the Graduate Metro Rate: Atchison, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Osage, Shawnee and Wyandotte.
Professional programs in dentistry, law, medicine and pharmacy do not qualify for the Graduate Metro Rate.
Through the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP), UMKC agrees to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for select graduate programs.
Professional programs in dentistry, law, pharmacy and certain programs in medicine do not qualify for the MSEP rate.
