The deployment phase for Office 2007 is now under way at UMKC!

Workstations replaced as part of the 2008 workstation replacement program will have Office 2007 pre-installed. Additionally, Information Services has begun a slow rollout of Office 2007 to those remaining workstations.

Office 2007 has also been installed in student labs maintained by Support Services.  Office 2003 has not been removed--rather, both versions (except for Outlook) can be run side by side. Students can become familiar with Office 2007 at their convenience, while having the more familiar Office 2003 on hand in case it is needed.

June - November 2007	Deploy to Pilot Groups Testing / Isolate issues
December  2007	Begin migration of campus computers to Office 2007 Office 2007 is pre-installed on new computers.
