The faculty & staff workstation deployment phase of Office 2007 is under way at UMKC. In addition, Office 2007 has been installed in student labs maintained by IS Support Services. To aid in the training and support of Office 2007, IS Support Services has created this page.

	Training Opportunities

Information Services and Human Resources recently partnered with MU's IT Training Division to offer several MS Office and Windows Vista faculty and staff training sessions to the UMKC campus. If you missed the courses you can still download the training materials below:

Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack - To help ensure that you can exchange documents between Microsoft Office releases (including Office 2007), Microsoft has developed a Compatibility Pack for the Office Word, Office Excel, and Office PowerPoint 2007 File Formats. This pack works on Office 2000, Office XP, and Office 2003! Get it now!

Microsoft Save as PDF or XPS - This download allows you to export and save to the PDF and XPS formats in eight 2007 Microsoft Office programs. It also allows you to send as e-mail attachment in the PDF and XPS formats in a subset of these programs. Get it now!

	Minimum Hardware Specifications

Office 2007 is typically supported on any Windows workstation that fits within our campus Minimum Hardware Standards. Please note however that variations in feature use and overall multitasking may also affect performance.
