Health Sciences Campus
Our Health Sciences Campus includes the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing and Health Studies, which are located in an area known as Hospital Hill. The schools on this campus have formed a partnership with area institutions, including Truman Medical Centers, Children’s Mercy and the Kansas City, Missouri Health Department to form the UMKC Health Sciences District. This collaboration of university and public entities was formed to address health issues in our region and train the area's next generation of health care professionals.
Through this partnership and their proximity to other health-care organizations, our students are uniquely positioned for some of the best health care jobs and internships Kansas City has to offer.
